About This Study

This study tests a new monthly injectable treatment for the prevention of chronic migraines. The medication works by blocking a protein involved in migraine pain pathways.

Study Objectives

To evaluate the reduction in monthly migraine days compared to placebo over 12 weeks.

Eligibility Requirements

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adults 18-65 years old
  • History of migraines for at least 1 year
  • 15 or more headache days per month
  • At least 8 migraine days per month
  • Failed at least 2 preventive treatments

Exclusion Criteria

  • Medication overuse headache
  • Other chronic pain conditions
  • Uncontrolled hypertension
  • Current use of opioids
