About This Study
This study tests a new monthly injectable treatment for the prevention of chronic migraines. The medication works by blocking a protein involved in migraine pain pathways.
Study Objectives
To evaluate the reduction in monthly migraine days compared to placebo over 12 weeks.
Eligibility Requirements
Inclusion Criteria
- Adults 18-65 years old
- History of migraines for at least 1 year
- 15 or more headache days per month
- At least 8 migraine days per month
- Failed at least 2 preventive treatments
Exclusion Criteria
- Medication overuse headache
- Other chronic pain conditions
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Current use of opioids
